Reaction: After engaging at a battlefield where you control an opposed unit: Give each of your Personalities there +1F. Draw a card. Discard a card unless one of your Personalities there is a Tactician.
Once, the castle trained berserk Moto to fight the Shadowlands. The training has shifted to include more targets.

just draw a card for having a tac dude is amazing. Maidens seems to be getting even more amazing, which makes me happy since I play em.

Well, to be honest, only the Uniques are Cavalry Tacticians. All the non-uniques are not Cavalry, like Tairu and Shinryu.

Keiko x3, the new guy and Hansu. There are 9 non-unique cavalry tacticians. 4 cavalry tactician uniques. The rest are infantry (3). That's a total of 16. Pretty good odds.

I actually forgot about the Battle Maiden since I've only ever seen her used for Arrival of the Ob Champ. My bad.

Still, there's the beginnings of a solid base of infantry Unicorn tacticians, so my point sort of still stands. Wink

3x Keiko, 3x Munoru, and 3x Hansu, that's a total of 9 CavTac dudes for your deck, if you want. But you're partially right, since the InfTac (Utaku Tairu and Shinjo Liu Ying) is far more interesting than the CavTac dudes (the ones previously mentioned). Maybe a mix of both InfTac and CavTac may be the solution for this SH to be a reliable source of card draw (and not a reliable source of card cycling).

1x Chen, 1x KC exp, 1x Choon-Yei, 1x Liu Ying, 3x Tairu and maybe 3x Hansu creates a solid basis of Tactician for this SH. And it opens a few "new" strategies, like Versatile Army and other things the Unicorn players have been ignoring since the beginning of CE.

Edit: There are also a few out of clan good tacticians, like Tamago.

There's also the non-unique cavalry Shugenja who is a Tactician while he has a spell attatched from Glory of the Empire.

What these previews tell me is that Design Team, despite claims to the contrary, is still punishing Unicorn for their finish at the end of Samurai. They're trying to get Unicorn at the bottom of the heap. That's why Scorpion has been getting HUGE power boosts while the Unicorn, the second weakest clan hasn't been getting much.

Look at it this way, the Scorpion Clan has more non-unique tacticians who can solo provinces than all of the Unicorn clan non-uniques put together.

Lets see:
Scorpion has Paneki who is a Tac and is Unique

and in the set they are getting a Naked Cav with Tac who is non Unique.

I think Unicorn can out Tac a Scorpion Player?

Maybe you got some clans mixed up?
