Honestly, people, when you say "I'll play it" tell us wich deck can run this guy !

And don't tell me "Honor, of course !" ... We can't really be competitive in a Honor run game with Dragon, phoenix, Crane, Lion, or even unicorn !

Breeder: he fits a slot for my deck which uses DLL and bowing people
Paragons: He's great paragon support, to make TSD even easier to use
Goblins: again, good support by reducing the opponents force.

Oni-tov could potentally use him, if it stays with Shugenja as it was previously (thought it's goblin scouts currently, I think).

I play a couple different spider decks at the moment with my favorite being breeder/control. This guy will definitely be going in as he slows dishonor and can lock people down.

Indeed, I meant out of clan as the honor gain is likely to draw attention from non-spiders, but I don't think for them he's efficient enough for just 2 honor like Oki is (even without her ability I'd probably run her. She's won me games appearing on my last turn with 2 provinces and being able to just put me at 40), BUT with that ability to hobble attackers it might be a consideration (though the conditional bowing will never mean anything for these builds).

And yeah, Maho-tsukai are the practitioners of Maho, Bloodspeaker specifically refferences servants of Iuchiban.

Kanashi is perfect for any sort of control or breed deck.

1) Force Reduction - reducing force compliments the best Spider open/limited control cards out there, Direct Approach & Impossible Force. The reduction is a token.

2) His action is Limited, making him a perfect bow pricepoint.

3) The honor is gravy and puts that much more space between us and dishonor. Oyo Seido is fantastic... and we shouldn't have to run it.

4) He helps combat both high-force military opponents and bows low-force control opponents.

Extremely versatile utility shugenja.

Cool card, too slow for competative decks, but he will be fun in multiplayer.

This guy is neat, im so like is second effect
