Awesome legacy for ring monk omgad.

start with this legacy, -1 honor, no more need for combos using Katashi.

And for using Junichi, who is a Magistrate and has a good Battle ability.

This is a very sweet card for all the reasons mentioned so far.

This card allows access to a bunch of sweet cards that Spider could see but not touch. Katashi arguably becomes playable (still not a big fan, but he's actually in my Monk decks now...), Chiaki is suddenly boxable 3 honour, and Junichi becomes boxable, although he fits best in a deck that would rather lose the honour for cards like Tight Quarters, which is another card that becomes more accessible. All in all, snazzy design.

Like everyone has said the holding is overall solid for certain decks.

I am surprised no one said anything about the quote which is hilarious. I could just see katsu walking through the marsh and turning "Oh what the hell is that" with a disturbed look on his face.

I laughed at that one too, thinking of Daigotsu's dark and mysterious shugenja assassin doing a double-take.

I'm assuming that in order for the honor effect to trigger you'll need to snag this holding during your first turn. Starting with a legacy holding in play doesn't count as it having entered play, right?

Yes, it would have to be the second Legacy holding you get. Not the one you get before the start of the game, as that won't cause you an honour loss/gain.

At least, that's how I've played it.

At least, that's how I've played it.

It was just pointed out to me on the main boards that the first legacy that you get when going second does infact "enter play".

Makes the Qualrslarth more usable too

I tend to get two legacy before anything so Qualrslarth may go back in with this holding as #2 legacy.
